The idea of locker room talk is that guys in a locker room start talking about girls and they try to one-up each other bragging about things, feeling free to make up things to brag about. Whatever is said in the locker room about girls can't be trusted to be true. Thus, we are supposed to dismiss what Trump said as untrue and move on.
You Brag About Committing Sexual Assault?
On the tape, Trump brags that because of how much money he has, he grabs women by the crotch and they don't do anything about it. The first key issue here is "brags."When you brag, you say that you did something you are certain that the people around you will think is totally awesome so you're totally awesome. By claiming that this is "locker room talk," Trump is saying that sexual assault is awesome and everyone will think that he's awesome for doing it because everyone knows how awesome it is.
So sexual assault is completely acceptable and even valuable to everyone? Or just everyone who matters in Trump's world, which obviously doesn't include women? Because those people are all sexual predators?

So all women are safe from Trump's gropiness because while he aspires to grope, he doesn't have what? The motivation? The power to get away with it? The opportunity? The desire to seem awesome in a world where sexual assault makes you awesome?

But he doesn't actually mean it and he's never done it even though that power balance has existed for decades and could easily be used in this way? Even though we have video proof, a confession, multiple victim reports, and witnesses? How much proof are we expected to have?

But he merely aspires to be a sexual predator because while being a sexual predator is awesome and we have a ton of evidence to back up that he is one, he's never achieved that dream.
